McKonly & Asbury Announces Promotions

McKonly & Asbury is excited to announce promotions for thirteen of our team members! These team members exemplify our Core Values on a regular basis, and we are pleased to acknowledge their contributions to the firm. With these promotions one team members advances to Principal, one to Director, one to Senior Manager, one to Manager, two to Supervisor, six to Senior Accountant, and one to Administrative Assistant.

Our focus on our team continues to be the vision that drives our culture, and we are fortunate to have some of the best and brightest talent in Pennsylvania working for us. Please join us in congratulating these team members.

Principal

Jeremy Peachey – Principal, CPA, MBA

Jeremy joined McKonly & Asbury in 2022 and is currently a Principal with the firm. He is a key member of our firm’s Tax Segment working with business owners and their outside professional advisors in developing comprehensive strategies in tax planning and overall business structure and operations. Jeremy has over 20 years of experience in both public accounting and private industry financial executive roles in various industries including construction, real estate, manufacturing, healthcare, and banking. Jeremy works out of our Camp Hill office and holds a degree in International Business from Messiah University as well as an MBA in Accounting and Finance from American University.

Director

Holly Feltenberger, MBA – Director of Talent Acquisition & Retention

Holly joined McKonly & Asbury in 2022 and is currently the Director of Talent Acquisition & Retention. Holly is a professional in recruiting with more than 20 years of experience, specifically surrounding the accounting and finance sectors. She has served the Central Pennsylvania marketplace throughout her career and has successfully placed countless professionals in accounting, finance, human resources, and information technology positions. Holly’s background showcases her ability to successfully build, manage, and foster important relationships within our community. Holly works out of our Camp Hill office and holds a degree in Special Education from Slippery Rock University as well as an MBA from Chathan University.

Senior Manager

Mark Welliver – Senior Manager, CPA

Mark joined McKonly & Asbury in 2011 and is currently a Senior Manager with the firm. He works in the firm’s Assurance & Advisory Segment focusing primarily on the areas of affordable housing and nonprofit organizations. Mark is a member of the A&A Committee and the Wellness Committee which promotes a healthy, active and fit lifestyle for all employees. Mark works out of our Camp Hill office and holds a Business Administration degree in Accounting from Shippensburg University.

Manager

Erin Pabon-Busansky – Manager

Erin Pabon-Busansky joined McKonly & Asbury in 2017 and is currently a Manager with the firm. She is a member of the firm’s Assurance & Advisory Segment, primarily working with clients in the healthcare, nonprofit, and affordable housing industries. Erin is also a member of the firm’s Service Committee as well as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Erin works out of our Lancaster office and holds a degree in Accounting from DeSales University.

Supervisor

Brett Murphy – Supervisor

Brett joined McKonly & Asbury in 2021 and is currently a Supervisor with the firm. Brett primarily works with clients in the manufacturing and construction industries, as well as performs employee benefit plan audits. Brett was a part of McKonly & Asbury’s internship program at three different stages of his college career before becoming a full-time employee. Brett works out of our Camp Hill office and holds a degree in Accounting from Susquehanna University.

 

John Richter – Supervisor

John joined McKonly & Asbury through the merger with Morris J. Cohen on January 1, 2024. John had been with MJC since graduating and starting his career in June of 2017. His main areas of focus are conducting financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations. John also assists in tax preparation services, in the form of Federal and State individual returns. John works out of our Philadelphia office and holds a degree in Accounting from Albright College.

Senior Accountant

Luke Brautigam, CPA – Senior Accountant

Luke joined McKonly & Asbury in 2022 and is currently a Senior Accountant with the firm. He is a member of the firm’s Assurance & Advisory Segment, servicing clients in the nonprofit and affordable housing industries. Luke works out of our Camp Hill office and holds a degree in Accounting from Messiah University.

 

Jordan Crews – Senior Accountant

Jordan joined McKonly & Asbury in 2022 and is currently a Senior Accountant with the firm. He is a member of the firm’s Assurance & Advisory Segment, servicing clients on Sarbanes-Oxley audits along with SOC audits. He also works on financial busy season audits. Jordan works out of our Camp Hill office and holds a degree in Accounting from Bob Jones University.

 

Sophia Hsu – Senior Accountant

Sophia joined McKonly & Asbury in 2021 and is currently a Senior Accountant with the firm. She is a member of the firm’s Tax Segment, serving clients in corporate, individual, and nonprofit practices. Sophia completed a Tax internship in the Spring of 2020 which extended until the Fall of 2020 due to COVID. Sophia works remotely and holds a degree in Accounting from Messiah University.

 

Emily McGarry – Senior Accountant

Emily McGarry joined McKonly & Asbury in 2022 and is currently a Senior Accountant with the firm’s Tax Segment. Emily completed two busy season internships with the firm as well as the summer externship program prior to joining McKonly & Asbury full time. Emily works out of our Lancaster office and holds a degree in Accounting from Elizabethtown College.

 

Andrew Puleo, CPA – Senior Accountant

Andrew joined McKonly & Asbury in 2022 and is currently a Senior Accountant with the firm’s Audit & Assurance Segment. Andrew works primarily with clients in our Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industries as well as performs employee benefit plan audits. Andrew completed one summer and one busy season internship with the firm as well as the summer externship program prior to joining McKonly & Asbury full time. Andrew works out of our Lancaster office and holds a degree in Accounting from Messiah University.

 

Tanner Rock, CPA – Senior Accountant

Tanner joined McKonly & Asbury in 2022 and is currently a Senior Accountant with the firm’s Audit & Assurance Segment. He works primarily with clients in the manufacturing and nonprofit industries. Tanner completed one internship with the firm prior to joining M&A full time. Tanner works out of our Lancaster office and holds a degree in Accounting from Lebanon Valley College.

Administrative Assistant

Jamie Poeth – System Administrator

Jamie joined McKonly & Asbury’s administrative team in 2022. She provides administrative support to the Northeast office in many different capacities. She assists with billing, client set up, engagement letters, QuickBooks inputting and assists our tax team during busy season. Jamie also provides administrative assistance to our affiliate company M&L Compliance Management. She is a licensed Notary and a member of the Pep Squad committee. Jamie works out of our Bloomsburg office.
