Managing Directors of Morris J. Cohen, Frank Cellucci and Michael Bonventure, said…
“After 94 years of providing uniquely tailored services in Philadelphia and the surrounding communities, we’ve decided our clients and staff would be best served by combining with a firm to provide additional service offerings as well as growth opportunities for our staff. Our ideal partner is a firm that shares the same values, is culturally aligned, and allows us to service our clients in the same manner with the same service staff that we always have. Our long-standing relationship and mutual respect of our organizations makes McKonly & Asbury the perfect partner for our needs. We are extremely excited to bring the McKonly & Asbury team and service offerings to the Philadelphia market!”
This transaction offers McKonly & Asbury the opportunity to provide Morris J. Cohen’s current clients with unique specialty and niche services, including business valuations, Service Organization Control (SOC) audits, cybersecurity services, and HITRUST. The Philadelphia office also provides a location for the firm to leverage its combined depth and experience to reach clients in industries previously unserved by Morris J. Cohen.
“As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, I can’t think of a better way to mark this milestone than by expanding our physical presence into the Philadelphia market through the addition of the Morris J. Cohen team,” said Michael Hoffner, Managing Partner at McKonly & Asbury. “Our two firms have enjoyed a working relationship for more than a decade, and through that time have developed a mutual respect for each other and recognized the similarities in our cultures and in how we serve our clients. Joining together will create greater opportunities for all of our people, increase our impact on the communities in which we work and live, and truly serve to enhance our collective ability to help our clients succeed.”
