McKonly & Asbury Named One of Accounting Today’s Best Places to Work for Women

We are thrilled to announce our recognition as one of Accounting Today’s Best Places to Work for Women. This award highlights our commitment to creating a supportive workplace for women and promoting gender equality within the accounting profession.

Each year, Accounting Today selects the 100 Best Firms to Work For in the U.S. and then identifies the 10 Best Firms for Women based on feedback from female employees through a comprehensive survey. Our inclusion in this list reflects our commitment to creating an environment where women can thrive, supported by initiatives that prioritize their professional development and well-being.

Flexibility and mentorships are crucial to fostering a supportive work environment where women can thrive,” said Janice Snyder, Partner and Director of Assurance Services. When women (and all employees) can succeed professionally and personally, they bring their best selves to every role, enriching their workplaces and communities. This award demonstrates McKonly & Asbury’s ability to champion flexibility, mentorship, and holistic success into the future.

To qualify for this honor, firms must have a minimum of 15 women on staff and, for larger firms, at least 25% of their workforce comprised of women. Furthermore, they must achieve an 80% average positive response rate from female employees in the employee survey, with a response rate of 40% or higher.

At McKonly & Asbury, our positive culture, commitment to flexibility, and family-first approach make our firm a place where women can thrive both personally and professionally,” stated Director of Talent Acquisition & Retention, Holly Feltenberger. We provide an empowering environment where our employees can grow their careers at their own pace while successfully balancing their personal lives. Our firm truly lives up to the expectations of what work/life balance is all about.

As we celebrate this achievement, McKonly & Asbury remains focused on continuous improvement, striving to enhance our workplace culture and advocate for women in accounting.
