Alyssa Irish

Alyssa is a Manager, specializing in nonprofit tax compliance for exempt organizations. With more than 8 years of experience in public accounting, Alyssa provides expert guidance to nonprofit organizations, ensuring that they maintain their tax-exempt status. She advises a diverse portfolio of nonprofits, including 501(c)(3) public charities and private foundations. She is passionate about helping nonprofits maximize their impact while managing compliance to protect the organization’s mission. Alyssa has extensive experience preparing and reviewing IRS Form 990 and related schedules.

Alyssa also has experience preparing and reviewing IRS Form 1065 for partnerships involved in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) developments. She works closely with clients to address capital account maintenance, allocation methodologies under IRC Section 704(b), and compliance with IRS and state housing agency requirements. She also has experience advising on upper-tier and lower-tier partnership allocations and investor exits.

Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys traveling the world, reading, and cooking. She also has a passion for animal rescue, with a special fondness for cats. Born in Buffalo, NY, she is also a loyal Buffalo Bills fan.
