McKonly & Asbury Announces Promotions

McKonly & Asbury is excited to announce promotions for ten of our team members! Two advance to Director, one to Manager, two to Supervisor, and five to Senior Accountant.

Our focus on people continues to be the vision that drives our culture, and we are fortunate to have some of the best and brightest talent in Pennsylvania working for us! Please join us in congratulating these team members!

DIRECTOR

Diane Clapper – Director of Administration

Diane joined McKonly & Asbury in 2003. She is currently the firm’s Director of Administration and her responsibilities include direct administrative support to several partners and principals of the firm; management of office supplies and equipment; and direction of administrative processes. Additionally, Diane collaborates with building owners regarding maintenance/repair matters and execution of such and is also a member of the firm’s LEAN Committee, which has oversight of internal workflow processes. She is a member of the firm’s Wellness Committee which promotes a healthy, active and fit lifestyle for all employees. Diane has over 30 years of experience in office management and top-level management administrative support. Diane works out of our firm’s Camp Hill office.

Geri Nuss – Director of Finance

Geri joined McKonly & Asbury in 1996. She is currently Director of Finance and her responsibilities include overseeing the accounting records for the firm; preparing the internal budget, financial statements, and tax returns; and preparing various other surveys and firm-related applications. In addition, Geri continues to work on various client accounts and helps in the recording and review of their financial information. Geri has over 34 years of experience in accounting and tax for small businesses. Geri works out of our firm’s Camp Hill office and holds a degree in Accounting from Millersville University.

MANAGER

Mark Welliver – Manager

Mark joined McKonly & Asbury in 2011 and is currently a Manager with the firm. He works in the firm’s Audit & Assurance Segment focusing primarily on the areas of affordable housing and nonprofit organizations. Mark is a member of the firm’s Audit & Accounting Committee, a group responsible for oversight of the firm’s Audit & Assurance Segment, as well as a member of the firm’s Wellness Committee which promotes a healthy, active and fit lifestyle for all employees. Mark works out of our firm’s Camp Hill office and holds a Business Administration degree in Accounting from Shippensburg University.

SUPERVISOR

Dan Dorgan – Supervisor

Dan joined McKonly & Asbury in 2018 and is currently a Supervisor with the firm. He is a member of the firm’s Audit & Assurance Segment, primarily working with clients in the manufacturing and construction industries, and also performing employee benefit plan audits and System and Organization Control (SOC) audits. Dan works out of our firm’s Lancaster office and holds a degree in Accounting from Shippensburg University.

Diane Else, CPA, MBA – Supervisor

Diane joined McKonly & Asbury in 2019 through the firm’s acquisition of Brewer & Company, LLC. She had been with Brewer & Company, LLC for 6 years. As a member of the firm’s Tax Segment, Diane handles business tax returns as well as client notices and issues with the state and IRS. She also assists with compilations and audits along with monthly accounting work for our clients. Diane works out of the firm’s Bloomsburg office and holds a degree in Accounting as well as an MBA from Wilkes University.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Chris Fieger, CPA – Senior Accountant

Chris joined McKonly & Asbury in 2019 and is currently a Senior Accountant with the firm. He is a member of the firm’s Audit & Assurance Segment, serving clients in the nonprofit, manufacturing, and construction industries as well as performing System and Organization Control (SOC) audits. Chris works out of our firm’s Lancaster office and holds a degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance from Millersville University.

Christa Matter – Senior Accountant

Christa joined McKonly & Asbury in 2019 and is currently a Senior Accountant with the firm. She is a member of the firm’s Audit & Assurance Segment, servicing clients in construction, manufacturing, affordable housing, and nonprofit industries as well as performing employee benefit plan audits. Christa works out of our firm’s Camp Hill office and holds a degree in Accounting from Susquehanna University.

Emily Moretz, CPA – Senior Accountant

Emily joined McKonly & Asbury in 2019 and is currently a Senior Accountant with the firm. She is a member of the firm’s Audit & Assurance Segment, servicing clients in the nonprofit, manufacturing, and construction industries as well as performing employee benefit plan audits. Emily works out of our Camp Hill office and holds a degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College.

Chris Richardson – Senior Accountant

Chris joined McKonly & Asbury in 2019 and is currently a Senior Accountant with the firm. He is a member of the firm’s Audit & Assurance Segment, servicing clients in the affordable housing and nonprofit industries. Chris also serves as a member of the firm’s Service Committee, assisting in organizing firm-sponsored community events, and is currently studying to sit for the CPA exam. Chris works out of our firm’s Camp Hill office and holds a degree in Accounting from Susquehanna University.

Claire Shaak – Senior Accountant

Claire joined McKonly & Asbury in 2019 and is currently a Senior Accountant with the firm. She is a member of the firm’s Audit & Assurance Segment, servicing clients in the nonprofit and affordable housing industries. Claire works out of our Camp Hill office and holds a degree in Accounting from Washington & Jefferson College.
