Your business has evolved, but has your ERP? For this webinar, McKonly & Asbury’s Manufacturing & Distribution team teamed up with Cargas Systems to help organizations understand the value of a modern enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and get the full picture of the implementation of this software. To kick off the webinar, Partner Brett Bauer and Manager Dan Dorgan reviewed current rules on how to account for software development costs. They provided an update on changes the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) is considering with regard to simplifying the accounting for software costs.
Leveraging their backgrounds in software and ERPs, Cargas team members Katie Graham and Pat Bostick dug into the benefits organizations receive when they embrace modern ERP software. This included discussions on process flows, AI automations, and things to consider when evaluating ERP solutions. Finally, the presenters demonstrated how advances in technology, such as AI automation and machine learning, look within an ERP environment.
