McKonly & Asbury’s September webinar entitled, “Ethics: A Focus on the 7 Threats” will take place on Thursday, September 26, 2019. This ethics webinar will focus on the 7 threats that could compromise a CPA’s compliance with the AICPA code of professional conduct. Many threats fall into one or more of the following seven broad categories: adverse interest, advocacy, familiarity, management participation, self-interest, self-review, and undue influence.
During this webinar, attendees will:
- Understand the 7 threats to compliance with the code of professional conduct.
- Be provided examples of each of the 7 threats: adverse interest, advocacy, familiarity, management participation, self-interest, self-review, and undue influence.
- Evaluate the 3 broad categories of safeguards that may be put in place to reduce the risk of non-compliance triggered by the 7 threats.
