New Interns at McKonly & Asbury
McKonly & Asbury recently welcomed two student interns to join our tax segment. We are excited to have them as part of our team and wanted to take a minute to introduce them to you! Read on for their bios and to learn more about why they chose to join our team!
Tyler Goldberg is an Elizabethtown College student and will be graduating in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is a member of the Elizabethtown College Men’s Varsity Golf Team and Treasurer of the Accounting Club.
“After participating in McKonly & Asbury’s externship program, I knew it was a great fit. Everyone I talked to had amazing things to say about the firm, which certainly isn’t always the case in the accounting profession. I also liked how the employees were not overworked and genuinely enjoyed the work they do. Overall, the employees as well as the culture of the firm were the reasons I wanted to complete a busy season internship at McKonly & Asbury.”
Michelle Herman is a student at Millersville University and will be graduating in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration focusing on Accounting.
“After completing the externship program last summer, I knew that I wanted to work for McKonly & Asbury. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and were more than happy to answer my questions. I could see that everyone truly enjoys their jobs and that no one is treated as just a number. The firm clearly invests in providing a challenging but fun work environment while also taking the time to give back to the community. This made me want to experience the culture of McKonly & Asbury even further during an internship.”
Both Tyler and Michelle participated in our firm’s 2017 Externship Program (an annual program that consists of events designed to give students an opportunity to experience and learn more about our culture as well as the day-to-day life of a staff accountant) and we are glad to have them back now as interns! Please join us in welcoming them to McKonly & Asbury!
