McKonly & Asbury Participates in United Way’s Day of Caring
McKonly & Asbury team members from all three office locations recently joined thousands of volunteers in the Capital Region, Lancaster area, and Bloomsburg area to participate in the annual United Way Day of Caring.
Organized by the McKonly & Asbury Service Committee, along with the United Way, 22 members of the Camp Hill office completed various projects at Camp Tuckahoe in Dillsburg for the Boy Scouts of America. Volunteers spent time cleaning camp cabins, power washing camp canoes, and clearing the lakeside of fallen branches, weeds, and brush. Ten members of the Lancaster staff painted rooms at the Gaudenzia Vantage House and the Elsie Shenk Outpatient Center. Five members of the Bloomsburg staff volunteered their time at Camp Victory painting two cabins, sweeping debris from various areas, and helping to move furniture.
United Way Day of Caring
McKonly & Asbury Managing Partner, Kurt Trimarchi, was pleased with the efforts of the staff who participated in the annual United Way Day of Caring.
“It was tremendous to see the staff from all three offices contributing in such a positive way to make a difference in the communities where they live and work. I am proud of the continued support our employees give, not only to United Way, but to all of the numerous charities in which they participate.”
This marked the 15th consecutive year that McKonly & Asbury has participated in the United Way Day of Caring. We encourage all of you to support your local United Way to make a difference in your local community.
