Is Your Organization Eligible for WEDnetPA Training Funds?

Pennsylvania is using its resources to invest in its workers, making sure they have the skills needed to compete in this global economy. The Commonwealth has partnered with the Workforce and Economic Development Network of Pennsylvania (WEDnetPA) to improve the skill level and productivity of Pennsylvania’s workforce, and strengthen the business environment of the Commonwealth. Did you know that Dale Carnegie Mid-Atlantic offers approved training topics for on-site or Live Online training under WEDnetPA’s program? As an owner of Dale Carnegie Mid-Atlantic, we wanted to make sure our clients and friends were aware of this training fund opportunity and the impact it can have on your business and the economy.

The keystone of WEDnetPA’s program is its ability to be responsive to the needs of Pennsylvania’s business community through a flexible and easy-to-use system. Eligible in-state businesses and out-of-state companies relocating to Pennsylvania apply to WEDnetPA to access training funds. The funding, in turn, can be used for a wide range of training topics. An important element of this system is that businesses determine their own training needs and can select among a wide range of training providers (the WEDnetPA partners, third-party providers or in-house staff) as well as how and where the businesses will receive the training (on-site, off-site or online).

As you assess the training opportunities available, please keep in mind some approved programs include: Leadership Training for Managers; High Impact Presentations; Virtual Selling: How to Build Relationships Online; Leading Virtual Teams; Effective Communications & Human Relations; and many more!

If you’d like to learn more about WEDnetPA funding, or to explore Dale Carnegie Mid-Atlantic’s program offerings, they’d be happy to help! You can contact Carla Doyle, Partner with Dale Carnegie Mid-Atlantic at carla.doyle@dalecarnegie.com.
