During this session, attendees gained an understanding of the value of a SEIM system and comparison between Splunk, AlienVault and Azure Sentinel.

Windows Updates are not sufficient to protect your environment against known vulnerabilities. The modern business utilizes hardware and applications from myriad vendors to perform day-to-day operations, so Steven Greenawalt, Director of Managed Services with DFDR Consulting will answered the question, “Does my company have the tools needed to identify those vulnerabilities and provide actionable feedback prioritizing which to patch first?”
COVID-19 & Information Security: Technical Challenges (3:25-3:45pm)
The ramifications of the novel coronavirus are being felt throughout the business and information security communities. During this presentation, Ken Pyle, Partner and Chief Information Security Officer with DFDR Consulting detailed what organizations should watch for and recommended some key defenses to put in place.
