As much as they wish they were, nonprofit organizations are not immune from cybersecurity risks. In fact, there are certain cybersecurity risks that are unique to nonprofit organizations that are on the rise. In this session, David Hammarberg, Partner and leader of the firm’s SOC, Cybersecurity, Forensic Examination, and Information Technology practices along with Jim Shellenberger, Partner and leader in the firm’s Nonprofit practice will cover an introduction to cybersecurity and define key cybersecurity terms and concepts. We will provide an overview of the most common attacks and the basic steps that nonprofit organizations can take to reduce their cybersecurity risk.
