Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023
McKonly & Asbury, along with co-hosts CYBIR and PrismWorks Technology, Inc. invite the IT community to a full-day, in-person conference as we explore effective IT Risk Management & Cybersecurity. The event will offer timely insights drawn from three organizations who are deeply familiar with safety and digital security, notably McKonly & Asbury’s cybersecurity and SOC Audit practice, CYBIR’s work in responding quickly to breaches and delivering digital forensic services, and the experience of Prismworks in effectively managing IT and data solutions.
This full-day conference will be held on Tuesday, October 3 at the Hershey Country Club from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Keynote Speaker, Sunny Notani, Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge, United States Secret Service will discuss the latest crypto scam Pig Butchering as well as Tik Tok and AI. Other topics for the day include:
- SOC 2 and Vendor Management – Michael Hoffner, Managing Partner and David Hammarberg, Partner and SOC Leader at McKonly & Asbury
Initial vendor selection and the process of reviewing those vendors annually. Dave will lead a discussion around the red flags of vendor selection. This topic should be a priority in your security framework. A weak vendor makes your security stance as weak as they are. - End User Security Parfait – Mark Crescenzi, President of Prismworks Technology, Inc.
Looking at the different layers of end user protection in an organization. Mark will focus on Azure AD Identity protection and using the tools in Microsoft 365 to better secure your environment. “Everybody loves Parfait!” - Current Security Vulnerabilities – Ken Pyle, Partner at CYBIR
- Data Security in the Age of AI – Jamison Rotz, Founder and CEO of Nearly Human
AI is changing the way we approach our businesses and computing in general. With all of the benefits come new risks. From information leakage, to fair us, to bias, to deep fakes – Jamison will discuss the risks your security professionals need to be thinking about in terms of AI and some of the things you can do to mitigate them. - Panel Discussion
What does what we learned today and the future look like for attendees? This panel will be a dynamic conversation with attendees on how attending organizations can improve their security posture and mitigate potential risks. We will take the speakers for the day and their presentations, connect the dots and show you how it is all connected.
