McKonly & Asbury’s June webinar entitled “Not-for-Profit Financial Reporting: How to Convert Your Financial Statements to Meet the New Standard” took place on Thursday, June 28, 2018.
The webinar was hosted by McKonly & Asbury Partner, Janice Snyder, and Principal, Jim Shellenberger, and addressed the requirements of Accounting Standard Update 2016-14, Not-for-Profit Entities (Topic 958): Presentation of Financial Statements of Not-for-Profit Entities. The presenters reviewed the new requirements under this standard and converted a full set of not-for-profit financial statements from the previous requirements to the new requirements. This was a step-by-step, page-by-page review of not-for-profit financial statements.

- Gained an understanding of the requirements of the new not-for-profit financial reporting standard.
- Walked through the conversion of a set of financial statements from the previous financial reporting requirements to the new financial reporting requirements.
- Understood the new disclosure requirements of the standard.

The level for this CPE was intermediate and there was a prerequisite of a basic understanding of not-for-profit financial statements for this CPE. This program was a live webinar which offered attendees the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the presenters.
