Registration is Open! Fall Affordable Housing Webinar – October 27

Registration is now open for McKonly & Asbury’s 2021 Fall Affordable Housing Webinar taking place on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, featuring A.J. Johnson! A.J. Johnson is President of A.J. Johnson Consulting Services, Inc., a full-service real estate consulting firm specializing in due diligence and asset management issues, with a particular emphasis on properties utilizing the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit.

A.J. will focus on “File Management and Documentation for LIHTC Developments” and address the Eviction Moratorium and other issues/topics related to COVID-19 that are relevant to the Low Income Housing Tax Credit industry. This training will cover the important, but often overlooked, role that file management and documentation play in the success of tax credit properties. A detailed discussion of how to organize a file, the documents required for each file, setting up the “Property Notebook,” and acceptable forms of verification for all issues relating to eligibility will also be covered. Additionally, the course will include a full review of resident eligibility issues, with particular emphasis on the documentation of income.

Webinar Agenda:

  • Morning session from 9:00 am to 11:30 am with a 15-minute break
  • 1.5-hour lunch break from 11:30am to 1:00pm
  • Afternoon session from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm with a 15-minute break

Continuing Education:

Attendees are eligible for 3.5 Continuing Professional Education Hours (Specialized Knowledge). The level of the content is intermediate to advanced and prior knowledge of and experience with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit is the only prerequisite.
