Cybersecurity – What the Executive Needs to Know
Thursday, October 29th, 2020
In this webinar, Michael Hoffner, Managing Partner and David Hammarberg, Principal and Leader of the firm’s Cybersecurity Services Practice covered a host of topics related to Cybersecurity that should be considered by every organizational leader, both for profit and nonprofit.
This webinar was intended for the executive who does not have a lot of experience/training in IT and Cyber matters. Our objective was to give a broad overview of what you should be asking your IT department or your outsourced vendors that you rely on for security. We provided an overview of Cybersecurity, defined key terms, reviewed the most common types of attacks companies face, and provided basic steps to reduce the risk.
During this webinar, our attendees learned:
- A basic introduction to Cybersecurity and the executive’s role in managing related risk
- An overview of the current Cybersecurity threats most often seen, and what to look for
- Points to consider for managing the significant risk in this area
