COLLABORATE! 2023 Conference Registration is Open!
Registration is now open for McKonly & Asbury’s COLLABORATE! 2023 Annual Leadership Conference!
Our signature event, COLLABORATE! 2023, will take place Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the Penn Harris Hotel in Camp Hill. This year’s leadership conference is going to be bigger and better than ever as we welcome our Keynote Speaker, Lee Rubin. Additionally, we are proud to welcome back the always engaging and insightful economist, Dr. Anirban Basu, who will provide this year’s economic review and forecast.
COLLABORATE! 2023 is intentionally put together as a team-building opportunity, with breakout discussions for the specific needs and interests of leaders in accounting, human resources, IT, board members, and Owners/CEOs/Presidents.
Keynote Speaker: Lee Rubin
Lee is a dynamic presenter who will draw from his time as a Penn State Football Captain and Human Resource Executive to deliver a highly interactive presentation around the 5 Components of Extraordinary Teams.
Keynote Description: Machines are evaluated based on the output of the entire unit, not the impressiveness of their individual parts. Extraordinary teams, like great machines, require certain components that hold their pieces together. While most organizations focus exclusively on building the skills of their individual members, elite organizations invest in the “stuff” that transforms a collection of talented individuals into extraordinary, machine-like teams.
Key Points:
- Individuals must make sacrifices to achieve the team’s COMMON GOAL
- Open and honest COMMUNICATION is the foundation for trust
- Daily, focused discipline is the key to CONSISTENCY
Featured Speaker: Dr. Anirban Basu
Noted economist and highly entertaining speaker Anirban Basu will provide the COLLABORATE! audience with an economic update entitled Show Me the Money during a general session. Dr. Basu is Chairman & CEO of Sage Policy Group, Inc., an economic and policy consulting firm headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland with an office in Indonesia. The firm provides strategic analytical services to energy suppliers, law firms, medical systems, government agencies, and real estate developers among others.
Session Description: Soft landing? Something harder? Whither inflation? This presentation will supply in-depth analysis of the major factors shaping economic outcomes, including central bank policymaking, worker attitudes, business confidence, and geopolitics. It will then turn toward a forecast for the year to come, highlighting the major risks that economic stakeholders will likely encounter.
