The SOC 2 preassessment is very different for each organization since the maturity of the client’s environment and the different controls each organization has to meet those criteria plays into the difficulty of successfully completing a preassessment. That being said, there seems to be a few things that our teams see over and over again that may help your organization more efficiently get through the preassessment and into the SOC 2 Type II testing period.
