Bloomsburg May 2 Seminar: Business Transition Planning – What is Your Plan?
You’re a business owner that does a great job of running your business. You are well-known in the marketplace and well respected. Business is humming. While things are great right now, what if a health factor hit you? How would you handle this? Or maybe you’ve decided it is time to make a change. Have you thought about how you get from point A of running your business to point B of moving on? These topics are hard and take time to navigate.
Our presentation will discuss the impacts of transitioning a business; whether it is an internal transition to family or employees, or an external transition through a sale process, the consequences can be many if not appropriately planned and thought out. Jeremy Peachey, Senior Tax Manager and Eric Blocher, Partner and Director of Valuation Services will be discussing tax and valuation matters that could impact a business transition as well as matters to consider now to ensure the appropriate financial and tax structure is in place for these life changing events.
