McKonly & Asbury, founded in 1973, is one of Pennsylvania’s most respected accounting and consulting firms. We are assisting one of our clients in search of a Chief Financial Officer. Our client is headquartered in Central Pennsylvania near Mechanicsburg, PA and has over 600 employees operating across multiple Mid-Atlantic states. Our client has a long track record of success, is privately held, and operates in the construction and service industries.
The CFO is responsible for a large variety of tasks within the finance department. This role will manage a team of 9 individuals, oversee financial meetings with service and construction managers, a review financial reporting to advise the board on trends, budget variances and opportunities to improve performance. Oversight of the ESOP plan and working with insurance brokers on workers’ compensation and general liability insurances will also be part of the CFO’s responsibilities. The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills, and be comfortable operating with enterprise accounting systems, Microsoft Office products as needed, and will be part of a migration to a new ERP software in the near future.
Our client requires a four-year degree, a minimum of ten years’ experience, including seven years of supervisory responsibilities. Experience with mechanical contractors would be advantageous. A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, or a Professional Accounting certification (CPA or CMA) is preferred
